FilmSkout is a social platform for visual artists, filmmakers and photographers to connect with brands and with each other to encourage creative people to tell great stories about places, people and things that inspire them. Riding on the wave of micro-films booming in Asia and the professionalization of online video content, we aim to serve a captive niche group of creative users by offering useful resources and time saving tools that enable them to focus on great storytelling and getting connected to like minded souls to further enhance their work. Operating lean and launching from Hong Kong as a trial run, FilmSkout is a highly scalable platform that is ready for the global market. Our first product is a crowd-sourced locations discovery mobile app for visual storytellers while our second product focus on connecting creative talents such as actors, directors, and models with storytellers allowing for mobile auditions to occur remotely.
