Interested in establishing a better relationship between businesses and their customers, Patti Hunt founded On-Off, Hong Kong’s first strategic design and technology company. By offering innovative approaches to blend together online and offline touch points, On-Off increases the attractiveness of products and services, increasing customer satisfaction and business revenue.
We talk with Patti about On-Off to get a better idea about her startup.
How did you come up with this idea?
I have been coming to this idea for years. It is a natural synthesis of my previous experience. I was a Project Manager who became a UX Designer who became a Service Designer who became a Strategic Designer!
Who are you targeting and how big is the market in HK/Asia?
I am targeting progressive multi-national organizations, startups and established businesses. Most organizations can benefit from the transformative power of design.
What are your future plans for your startup?
My business partner and I want to establish a first-class strategic design hub that marks Hong Kong as the center for cutting-edge design thinking and next generation business innovation.
1 Benefit and 1 Challenge in the HK startup scene?
One HUGE benefit is the amazing support and help for startups. I feel like it’s the best place in the world to have a business. One challenge is finding the right clients and sometimes I feel the scene can be a bit competitive. We are much stronger as entrepreneurs and startups if we work together and collaborate.
