Born in Poland and raised in Germany, Markus Stefanko (pictured on the far right) headed straight for Copenhagen as soon as he finished school and was set for his first CTO position at the age of just 20. In the Danish capital, he worked on the professional electronic sports team MYM. The site attracted 1.4 million users and VC funding of $2 million from Seed Capital and Danish IT billionaire Preben Damgaard.

After working with Morten Lund for five years; firstly at Copenhagen design agency HelloGroup as a Solutions Architect, later for three years at Everbread, hacking out travel solutions from Mallorca, Stefanko co-founded PitchXO. Under his direction, PitchXO has already made it into the UK’s Rackspace Startup Programme and has offices in the US, Denmark and Hong Kong.

5 Questions with Vincent De Saint-Exupery, Founder of LCCS

After 15 years working in Spain, France, the US and Hong Kong in the international development consulting space, Vincent De Saint-Exupery quit his job and launched his first startup in 2007 – Catapulte. His startup’s aim was to provide startups or larger firms with local subsidiaries a full suite of administrative, accounting and legal services to help in their local and regional developments.

From Catapulte came Ecclesia, a SaaS startup that collects, manages and stores data for limited companies in Hong Kong. In his latest venture, De Saint-Exupery continued on his quest to provide companies with a low-cost, web-based secretarial service solution called LCCS, which is geared towards startups or big companies looking to expand in Asia.

5 Questions with Jerome Tam, Co-Founder of Rush Hour Media

Rush Hour Media co-founders Jerome Tam (pictured right in above image) and Jake Sharp met at the University of Leeds, where they were studying Aviation and New Media, respectively.

While Jake worked for several UK web agencies while pursuing a master’s in computer science, Jerome sold insurance in Hong Kong – still keeping his dreams of becoming a pilot at the forefront. In fact, he got as far as the flight grading process for Cathay Pacific and was one of the final eight candidates of that year.

Instead, life steered Jerome towards entrepreneurship as he worked in a sales role for NecesCity, a media startup catering to exclusive men’s lifestyle. Combining his sales experience and passion for startups with Jake’s engineering background and web agency experience – the two created Rush Hour Media.
