Our good friend Michael Michellini (@michelini) put on the 4th Startup Weekend Shenzhen and we were there to grab some photos.

The venue was at 3WCoffee in High-Tech Park about 30-minutes from the Lo Wu border and is the Silicon Valley of Shenzhen with a massive Tencent building (Their international headquarters) as well as IT schools.

The turnout was massive for the event and 13 teams pitched from Shenzhen and a few from Hong Kong. The winner was Mappiness with their app on finding the happy places near you using your smartphone – like bars, restaurants and other gatherings. They won an iPad and US$2000 a month for 1 year in SoftLayer hosting credit.

Congrats to Micheal and his team for hosting a great event!
