You disrupt the enterprise, people take notice!
Last night at the Silicon Dragon Awards reception at the KPMG offices in Causeway Bay, founder Rebecca Fannin gave out 2 awards under her Silicon Dragon banner – one was to VC Deal of the Year to Richard Liu and the other was to our community member and Enterproid/Divide CTO and co-founder David Zhu as Entrepreneur of the Year.
David started in our community a few years ago with Enterproid, having been one of the early employees of Smule and working at Morgan Stanley; he went on to co-found Enterproid with his friends and now boast offices in Hong Kong, London and New York with investors like Google Ventures, Comcast Ventures, Qualcomm Ventures, Globespan Capital Partners and Harmony Partners raising a combined US$25 million in funding!
David has been a strong supporter of the Hong Kong startup scene and you can even see his early pitch at our first Startup Saturday below to see how far he’s grown his original vision:
Here’s an interview with all 3 co-founders from 2011:
And his deck at this October’s Startup Saturday: Mobilliance 2013 is here.

Congrats to David and his team! Continuing to put Hong Kong’s startup scene on the map!
