the site is actually on wordpress 2.3, it was down due to DNS service going down with the registrar, first time that happened or I noticed in a few years. Ruby 1.9 is pretty speedy, though I haven’t used it in production yet. Ankoder and Rorcraft blogs are both on a ruby site
