The following article was a letter from David Menning, founder of a newly started space Innovation Lab.
Dear Hong Kong Startups and Entrepreneurs,
This is David Menning, founder of the Innovation Lab, a cool co-work space I am working on. Innovation Lab was started to help aspiring entrepreneurs especially in the Western District to have a place where they can go to work on their ideas in a better way. As an entrepreneur myself, I understand the value of working with other successful individuals – success breeds success. Innovation Lab provides a place where people can come together, get inspired, stay motivated and see their business succeed.
If you would love to visit us – Innovation Lab is Hong Kong’s newest co-work space exclusive to the upcoming Kennedy Town. Located on the newly renovated 8th floor of an industrial building. We offer private office and hot desk memberships.
We saw that Kennedy Town was growing really fast with expats flocking to the area, the Kennedy Town MTR opening soon, and all the new restaurants and bars popping up. We wanted to get in early on the excitement. Hong Kong has an exciting startup community and we felt that Kennedy Town needed something special for entrepreneurs, designers, freelancers etc.
Our space was built in the style of Industrial chic with high ceilings with lots of natural light. I personally like the co-work space because that is where I work from. The space faces the mountain view too – it’s really nice to see the greenery and refreshing sunlight!
Entrepreneurs and startups, freelancers, designers, IT professionals are all welcome. In Kennedy Town, we believe that there are enough doers in the local area who need a cozy place to sit down and get things done.
Every Tuesday & Thursday we have open houses to invite people to come through and check out the space. We also try to host regular skill exchange nights where local professionals can come and put on a workshop.
Innovation Lab is uniquely located in Kennedy Town. We stand alone geographically. Since we are in a commercial building, we also get to enjoy a lot of open space compared to more central locations.
