StartupsHK founders Casey and Gene will be heading to Singapore on May 7-8 for TechInAsia’s bi-annual Startup Asia 2014 – and they’d like to bring some Hong Kong startups with them!

Haven’t heard of Startup Asia? it’s a large-scale conference showcasing early stage and product-ready tech startups, and attendees will get to learn from dynamic keynotes and coffee chats in an action-packed agenda. During the two day conference, entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to rub shoulders with industry professionals, fellow founders, investors, corporate and government representatives from all around the region.
What’s more, is Startup Asia 2014 will have two highlights taking place throughout the conference, one of which is the Startup Arena. Startup Arena is a fierce competition between 10 startups from the Asian region – winner takes home bragging rights, US $10,000 and will have their names engraved on the Startup Asia Champion trophy.
The second highlight will be a two-day hackathon where 200 developers can put their hacking skills to the test against like-minded coders, explore new APIs and have a chance to win cool prizes such as cash, gadgets, internship opportunities and even investments.
