Come out for the first of our new monthly event: START CLUB!

Doors open at 6:30pm, and our talk begins at 7:00pm with MIKAAL ABDULLA, CEO and Founder of 8Securities.com – this live interview will showcase how Mikaal came up with the concept for 8Securities.com, raised funding, found talent, launched it in the Hong Kong market and his efforts in marketing the site. This is a talk not to be missed! Jason Li will be doing live Art Notes for this talk!

Afterwards we will be doing live pitches from new start-ups with a panel of judges to give feedback and audience Q&A – and in Fight Club fashion here are the 8 rules:

  1. You must tweet/share/blog about Start Club
  2. You must retweet/re-share anything about Start Club
  3. Pitches will not go on as long as they have to: 5 slides, 5 minutes.
  4. If the timekeeper says “stop” the pitch is over.
  5. No live demos, no animated transitions, no Powerpoint.
  6. No ties, jackets or pantsuits – keep it smart casual.
  7. Anyone can pitch, but only one pitch at a time.
  8. And if this is your first time to Start Club: you have to pitch!
