Six Startups Join DBS Accelerator Hong Kong

The six startups are CUBE, cyberProductivity, DOV-E, Fractal Labs, Hyper Anna, and Privé Technologies. This brings the total number of DBS Accelerator participants to over 30 since the DBS Bank (Hong Kong) programme’s successful launch in 2015. All of the programme’s startup alumni have successfully secured funding support or expanded their business in Hong Kong as a result of their participation in DBS Accelerator. DBS, which marks a milestone 50th anniversary in 2018, continues to be a pioneering force in transforming the way banks serve, engage and interact with customers though FinTech innovation.

Betatron wraps up cohort 2 and is accepting applications for cohort 3

Betatron demo day cohort 2Betatron recently held it’s Demo Day for their seven startups in cohort2 on Thursday 25th January. The turnout was impressive with 360 event registrations and a high-quality audience with most of Hong Kong’s most successful investors and entrepreneurs in attendance.

During the event, Betatron announced the significant traction they’ve generated since the first cohort launched in March 2017. To date, Betatron has raised funding from 21 investors and has invested in 11 startups across the two cohorts. After joining the Betatron program, the startups over the first two cohort’s have raised a total of US$2.4M further funding, with 62% of the capital coming from Betatron’s founding partners.

Applications are now open for Betatron’s cohort 3 where they will be investing in up to TEN startups. Each one will receive US$30,000 investment and hands-on mentorship to position the company to scale.To apply, visit: betatron.co/apply
