The very first social innovation camp has just passed in Hong Kong and nother tech x social entrepreneurship event is happening soon. It seems that more Hong Kong people are caring about social innovation and some are even trying to make the social changes themselves.

It is so great that the Hong Kong government is developing a fund tailored for Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
Good news came that the Hong Kong government recently launched a HK$500 million Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Fund (SIE Fund) supporting those innovative projects that aims to make some good changes. This is the first fund ever announced by Hong Kong government to support entrepreneurial individuals to tackle different social problems and challenges facing Hong Kong today.
