Just last week, AfterShip officially went live. Congratulations!
Helping businesses track shipments and alert customers of packages in transit, AfterShip has simplified the process of ordering online. Their new track button feature allows vendors to embed a widget on their page where customers can automatically view the status of their package without being redirected to a tracking site.
Simplicity has been the key to their success, reducing the anxiety and stress that accumulates when waiting for a package (sometimes one that doesn’t arrive on time.) Linked with 88 couriers around the world, AfterShip has connected over a million packages with their rightful owners and continues to do so with their automatic SMS notifications feature.
Smaller merchants and individual customers are now being targeted as the next group to join the AfterShip craze, with the addition of a free plan that offers basic services such as shipping analytics and a custom courier list. The premium plan extends its services to include the all new track button, notification settings, and API support.
Looking forward, Andrew Chan, Co-founder of AfterShip, hopes to collect enough shipment records to publish data of package tracking. “Personally speaking, this is a key milestone for the team as the current development was unexpected when we had the idea of AfterShip a year and a half ago.”
