StartupsHK co-founders Gene Soo and Casey Lau are featured in this month’s Capital Entrepreneur magazine talking about the startup scene in Hong Kong on how it started and where it’s going. One of the main points is the need for more mentorship by startups to startups.
Since they’ve become the unofficial poster children for the Hong Kong start-up community Casey and Gene have decided to open their doors and offer new startups a chance to come in and talk about their startups for mentoring sessions with the two startup connectors in Hong Kong.
During the mentoring session you can practice your presentation, talk about the business model, ask about connections in Hong Kong, compare competitors in the market, prep for investor meetings and other startup stuff.
These free 1-hour sessions will be held on a monthly basis on a first-come-first-serve basis and will be at different co-workspaces around Hong Kong. The first one will be on February 28th at The Hive – so go to this page to book a session now. We’ve filled all the slots for Friday. We will open up the bookings for March soon!
