Wai-Lun Hong the founder and CEO of recently funded SnapTee went to the annual South by Southwest event in Austin, Texas and he was able to send us these photos and this summary of his trip.
SXSW is one of the most amazing events for startups and you can read about Neonpunch.com’s experience from 2010 here. But continue on to see what Wai-Lun thought:
In SXSW, many interesting things happen outside of the panels, of course Elon Musk talking space and Al Gore talking future is something that you may not want to miss, but wandering outside lead us to so many interesting encounters like Robert Scoble, Brian Chesky and some Hollywood hot celebs.
We’ve been spending most of our time demoing Snaptee for hundreds of times and getting feedback. And people here hanging around in SXSW are really open-minded and helpful, they are so curious about new products and give valuable feedbacks. I would say its really a good place to show off new product or ideas and get a sense of how people react with those early adopters here.
And one memorable moment is we were sitting at a cafe for breakfast and someone walk up and ask “are you guys from Snaptee?”. She really blown us away and it turns out she is one of our early customer.
