Zeroth.ai is the first accelerator programme for artificial intelligence and machine learning startups across Asia, based out of Hong Kong. Beginning in Nov 7th, 2016, the program will run for 12 weeks, providing financing and access to a global network of AI/ML entrepreneurs, experts, and renowned investors.

Led by Tak Lo, who was the former Director of Techstars London and influential entrepreneur and investor in Asia, Zeroth.ai is proud to announce the joint of seasoned world-class entrepreneurs and investors such as Jaan Tallinn, Co-founder of Skype and the investor of DeepMind, and Thomas Stone, Co-founder of Prediction.io. Zeroth.ai is determined to bring new initiatives and energy to Asia’s AI/ML startup ecosystem.

Who is Tak Lo?

I’m the MD at Zeroth.ai. Previously I ran Techstars London, investing in over 50 startups there.

What is Zeroth.ai?

We’re an accelerator program focused on Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning startups. We provide $20K USD in funding and mentoring for 3 months.

Why AI?

Artificial intelligence is the most interesting field in technology that I’ve personally seen in the last few years. It will drive the next stage in tech growth.

What is the future of AI in Asia?

It’s only going to proliferate and grow. There’s worldwide activity with AI/ML, and the barriers to making an AI/ML startup will only decrease. Thus, we will see many more startups in the space in the near future.

What are the benefits of the program?

The benefits are $20K USD, for over 3 months of program support, and teams can expect to get product/market fit and raise.
